Philippines Call Center Telemarketing
The Philippines call center environment is considered one of the most vibrant in the world. In fact, it has already surpassed the ranking of India as being the top Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hub in the world thanks to the Filipinos skill in terms of Information Technology as well as their neutral accents when speaking with clients abroad.
However, many people might think that the Philippines call center set-up is always in-bound general care services or technical assistance to big and established companies. There are also many cases wherein the call center is designed to be an outbound center where products and services are introduced to prospective customers.
This is telemarketing and it has been a major part in the diverse Philippines call center industry. Telemarketing as was mentioned above, would require highly skilled call center agents who would asked prospective customers a few pre-qualifying questions to the person on the other line to match them with the products and services that are available for sale over the phone.
There are instances wherein an outbound call center is hired by a business to prospect for customers, which is known as lead generation. In this process, the call center agent or lead generation specialist would not sell anything to the customer.
However, the lead generation specialist would ensure that the prospective clients they’ve talked to must match the products and services being offered by the client enterprise. This is done through asking pre-qualifying questions that would match the generated lead with the client’s available products and services.
In telemarketing, the call center agents must not only read the script that they would be using in their lead generation campaign. They must also have some sense of empathy for the prospective customers so as the customers would not feel that they are being forced to hastily arrive at a decision that they might regret in the future.
In telemarketing, the call center agents should be bursting with positive energy that is necessary when looking for prospective customers for their clients. Some of the questions that they would be asking would be personal or sometimes technical and that is the reason these call center agents need to keep the prospective customer’s attention under their control. If not, the customer might soon get bored and hang-up.
Add to that, call center agents that are trained in telemarketing should know how to properly do a rebuttal when necessary without sounding condescending. They remain composed and professional even if they are presenting a few clarification with regard to the pre-qualification process that the prospective customer just went through.
Most importantly, telemarketing is about winning that prospective customer’s loyalty so that when another telemarketer calls them, they would simply turn those agents down since they’re already committed to the first call center agent who called them.
These are just some of the simple steps that telemarketing could contribute in making your company into a stellar brand.
